Medical disclaimer
RatedByPatients publishes prices, public records and patient experience for telehealth companies. It does not practise medicine. Nothing here is medical advice, and nothing here should be used to start, stop or change a treatment.
If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not delay care because of anything you have read on this site. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 in the United States to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
No doctor-patient relationship
Reading this site, submitting a review, running a price check or contacting us does not create a doctor-patient relationship, and it does not create a professional relationship of any kind with a clinician. We are not a healthcare provider, a pharmacy, a medical practice or an insurer, and we are not affiliated with the companies we review.
What our content is for
The purpose of this site is comparison and consumer information - what a telehealth company charges, what the public regulatory record says about it, and what patients report about using it. That is a consumer question, not a clinical one.
- Content is general information, published for a general audience. It is not tailored to you, your history, your medications or your insurance.
- Mentioning a medication is not a recommendation to take it, and mentioning a provider is not a recommendation to use it. A high score means a company scores well on our published criteria - it says nothing about whether a treatment is right for you.
- Our scores measure companies, not clinical outcomes. We do not assess whether any treatment worked, and we do not evaluate the quality of care given to an individual patient.
Always talk to a licensed clinician
Decisions about prescription medication - including GLP-1 medications, hormone therapy, mental health medication and anything else discussed on this site - belong with a clinician who is licensed in your state, who knows your medical history, and who can examine you and review your records. Always seek their advice with any question about a medical condition, and never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you read here.
Medications carry risks, side effects and interactions. Some are not appropriate for people with certain conditions or who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Prescribing decisions, dosing and monitoring are clinical judgements, and this site does not make them.
Patient reviews are personal experience
Reviews on this site are written by members of the public describing their own experience with a company’s service. They are opinion, not clinical evidence. One person’s outcome does not predict yours, and a review describing a treatment as effective or ineffective should not be read as evidence for or against that treatment.
Accuracy, currency and completeness
We verify prices and public records by hand and re-check them on a monthly cycle, and every page carries the date it was last checked. Even so, this sector changes constantly: prices, plans, eligibility rules, shortages, formulations and regulatory status can all change after we publish. Always confirm current details with the provider, your pharmacy and your insurer before you act.
Where a page names a medical reviewer, that person has checked the clinical statements on it. Medical review confirms that content is a fair general description; it is not advice about your case, and the reviewer has no relationship with you.
Regulatory information
Where we report an FDA warning letter, a certification status or a prescribing network membership, we are reporting the public record on the date we checked it, with a link to the primary document. The absence of an adverse record is not an endorsement, a safety assurance, or a statement about the quality of clinical care - it means only that we found no adverse record on that date.
No warranty and limitation of liability
This site is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RatedByPatients is not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from reliance on information published here. Your use of this site is subject to our terms of use.
Telling us about a problem
If a page here is clinically misleading or factually wrong, we want to correct it. Use the contact form, choose “Review correction”, and tell us which statement is at issue. Suspected side effects of a medication should also be reported to the FDA through MedWatch, and to your clinician.
